The Amal trade school at Dimona was established in the 1960’s. The Amal network schools were established under the Histadrut organization and their goal was to train students in various crafts, combining basic training and craft training at designated workshops, such as mechanics, textile, carpentry and more. The building is being used as a trade school to this day; it is made out of several lengthy buildings, which are mainly workshops.
