The Yad LaBanim house at the Ramat HaKovesh kibbutz was built between 1957-58. The structure is the memorial and cultural center of the kibbutz, then as well as now. It is used as the people’s house, with a large concert hall as well as memorial rooms. The house is located at the head of a green hill, with the view of the kibbutz on the one side and of the open fields on the other. The building has a wide staircase that leads to a large plaza framed by a colonnade of columns which connects the hall to the other spaces.
